TEXTUAL HOLDINGS - BASIC BIBLIOGRAPHIC UNIT
 
Definition
 
The field is used to record textual description a) for single part items, and b) instead of or in addition
to the caption and pattern and enumeration and chronology information for multipart and serial items.

510 for multipart and serial items when the data in a compressed form cannot produce a record as
required by a standard visual display.
